30% credit card Rate, WHAT???

I spoke with a gentleman today that told me that he was hospitalized for two months, and when he was released, he found out that due to non-payment of his credit card bill, his rate is now 30%. Can you beleive it, 30%!!!!! He said that when he called the credit card company, he ask them, when his rate would be reduced back to normal? He said that the representative told him that she didn't know, that the computer would tell them. He said that he looked at the phone, and then told her that his computer just told her to go to HEll. LOL! :)
